Borneo Wildlife Tour


14 day birding tour that covers the best of Malaysian Borneo - some of the richest rainforest on Earth. About 300 different species of birds can be expected of which 50 local endemics such as White-crowned Shama, Yellow-rumped Flowerpecker, White-fronted Falconet, and Whitehead´s Trogon, which is probably one of the most spectacular species of Borneo. Incredible large mammals including Borneo Pygmy Elephant, Sumatran Rhinoceros, Orang-utan, Clouded Leopard, Sun Bear and Tembadau (wild ox) also feature in the menu.

During the tour we will explore some of the best birding locations of Borneo, like Danum Valley, Kinabatangan River, Tabin Wildlife Reserve and Mount Kinabalu.

Price includes: Transport with comfortable minibus, all internal flights (Kuala Lumpur- Tawau, Sandakan-Kota Kinabalu and Kota Kinabalu-Kuala Lumpur) accommodation in comfortable hotels with private facilities, full board, professional bird guide and all entrance fees.
The price does not include: International airfares to and from Kuala Lumpur, travel insurance, alcohol drinks and cigarettes, room service, telephone calls.
